Feb 24, 2026, Tuesday: 3:30 – 5 PM Water Lily Montessori families are invited to an informational parent education session. We will discuss parenting strategies including positive parenting and concepts of behavioral mentoring.

This will be a fun parent ed session where we practice, role-play, and have a question–answer session. Be sure, you will leave feeling seen, validated, and supported! We look forward to seeing you!

Montessori principles help shape our parenting styles, our responses to big emotions in toddlers and young children, our understanding of the child mind and their world, and our role in supporting our children to learn, grow, and be all they already are and can be.

To get started, you may want to learn a bit more about the gentle approaches to discipline that align with Montessori principles. See the Montessori Foundation's article on gentle approaches to discipline here -> https://www.montessori.org/montessoris-gentle-approach-to-discipline/

You may also want to review the 5 Core Concepts of Montessori and consider how these approaches may influence and guide our children's behavioral responses: https://www.montessori.org/montessoris-gentle-approach-to-discipline/
